Marvel Universe Dr. Strange Action Figure (2011) 3.75"

Most of the action figures I collect are in the 3.75 inch scale. This is because I started out my action figure collecting in the 1970's and early 1980's when both Star Wars and G.I. Joe were the same scale. So I like all my figures to be able to interact with each other when I was a kid (I had to make an exception of the Masters of the Universe). Still today as an adult I prefer 3.75" so when Marvel finally got seriously into the 3.75" market with Marvel Universe I was all in.
This is the 2011 Dr. Strange action figure from Wave 14. There was also a clear plastic "astral" variant which I do not have. With the newly released Dr. Strange movie now out and on everyone's mind, I thought I'd take a look at this really cool figure.
There is very little about this action figure that I do not like. This is a spot-on representation of classic Dr. Strange from the Marvel Comics. He has his cape, Eye of Agamatto, posed fingers, and super cool head sculpt. This figure is 100% Dr. Strange. The cape is plastic and very ornate. It looks fantastic with the molded giant collar.
The action figure is still widely available on the after market and it's not too expensive. In fact, if you will scroll down to the bottom of the page Amazon probably still has them in stock. With the new Dr. Strange movie now out and his character now getting pushed to the forefront of the Marvel Universe again, I highly recommend grabbing this excellent action figure for your 3.75 inch collection.
