We continue our look at the NWA Southeastern Championship Wrestling promotion and television program from Dothan, Alabama television studio.  There isn't a lot of footage from 1982 and 1983 unfortunately.  What little does exist (like this clip) is incomplete and poor quality.

This clip is from the April 24, 1982 show and The Fabulous Freebirds Terry Gordy and Michael Hayes had returned to the area and were actually feuding with each other.  This is the end of their feud with Michael Hayes facing Terry Gordy in a steel cage, southern street fight, Texas death match rules match.

The clip joins the match in progress and both men have beaten each other down.  As they struggle to their feet, the New Zealand Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams) come down to ringside and Boyd throws powder into the eyes of Hayes and Gordy gives him two piledrivers for the win.

After the match, both the Sheepherders come in the ring with scissors and are soon joined by Jos LeDuc.  They are about to cut Michael Hayes' hair when Terry Gordy saves him and turns and battles off the trio of heels.

We then cut to announcer Rick Stewart in the dressing room with Hayes and Gordy comes in and ultimately apologizes to Hayes.  The clip ends with Hayes telling Gordy he will think about his apology and walks away.
