One of the coolest action figures of the original 1982-83 G.i. Joe toy line is the Army Ranger figure Stalker.  This figure is extra cool because it and Snake Eyes are the only two figures in the original line-up with a unique head sculpt.  The figures camouflage pattern also stands out among the other figures in the toy line which have a solid green (or in Snake Eye's case- black) color scheme.

The figure I have in my personal collection is this 1983 version with the updated swivel arm battle grip.  The original version has straight arms which make it difficult for him to hold his machine gun.  Even with the swivel arm battle grip, the gun is difficult for the figure to hold as the stalk is a tiny bit too long and rides up too long on his arm.  It would have been nice if the stalk was about 1/4 inch shorter.

I only acquired this Stalker a few months ago as a gift.  The Stalker figure usually runs a little higher in the secondary market than the other figures.  I'm not certain why that is as it isn't particularly fragile like Zap.  Perhaps, it is simply because this figure is just really cool.

Rear view of stalker.  you can see the updated 82-83 marking.  unlike most of the other figures from this year, stalker did not come with any type of backpack.  the only accessory he came with was the sub-machine gun.
